*Introduction
Windows NT passwords and logins are often used to
protect networks using Windows NT computers.
Every user a have a *.pwl file which contains their
password. These pwl files are encrypted so if you
try to read them you won't get any useful information.
There are many good programs out there which can crack
these pwl files, but why do it the boring way!
The pwl files are stored in the \windows directory.

*Bypassing Methods
Here are some useful methods, it's not every way to
pass Windows lame security, but I can almost promise
that atleast one of these methods will work.

[Method No 1]: Boot up the computer, when you can read
"Starting Windows 95/98/NT" press F8.
This will take you to a menu with numeroase choices.
Scroll down to the one saying something like ERRORPROOF
MODE. Press Enter.
This will start Windows in Errorproof mode, the operative-
system will look at bit strange but everything works and
no Login or Password is needed.

[Method No 2]: Boot up the computer, after Windows have
started and the Login windows have poped up.
Press CTRL + ESC, This will bring up the activitypanel.
>From this you could run and read everything you want
without any anoying Login window.
Warning: This way to "hack" will cause the mouse on some
computers to freeze. If this happens restart the computer
and try another method.

[Method No 3]: Boot up the computer, when you can read
"Starting Windows 95/98/NT" press F8. This will take you
to the same menu as in method no 1. Choose MS-DOS only.
After the box have loaded all the necessary drivers and
you are thrown into DOS, change to the computers \windows
directory by typing: cd..
then type: cd windows
then type: dir *.pwl
Choose one of them and type: rename xxx.pwl xxx.pwk
(xxx is the name of the file)
The rename command will rename the pwl file to a pwk file.
Windows won't recognize this file as a pwl file anymore.
After this type: win or exit to start windows.
After Windows have started and the loginwindow have
popuped. Login in with the username you renamed, but
don't enter any password.
Now windows will ask you for a new password for that user,
enter a new of your own choice. You've now got a brand
new user.
Tip: Do this with the Superuser's (sysadmin's) account.

If you want to reset your changes and cover your tracks.
Then enter DOS with the same procedure as before and
change the *.pwk file back to *.pwl.

[Method no 4]: There are many PWl crackers out there.
They are easy to use and they are a good solution to
lamers who are to lazy to do a real "hack".
Get yourself a good wordlist and use the Dictionary-
attack mode, this will try every word in the list as a
password until the cracker finds the right word.
If this do not work use the Bruteforce-attack instead,
tis method will try letter, numbers etc. until the
password is found. This could take years and even
decades if the password is long.

[Method no 5]: Many Trojans have the function to capture
passwords from a remote computer. Read the different
manuals to each Trojan.
